A house on the edge of Ihutai, the Avon Heathcote Estuary in Christchurch. The owners wanted a modern beach house and the finished result achieves this, providing contemporary relaxed living beside the sea. An internal courtyard provides protection from sea breezes whilst opening up to the afternoon sun.
