A contemporary home on a golf course by a stream.

This home – designed for the overseas-based owner’s golf holidays – is composed of three cedar-clad pavilions anchored by a long concrete wall. Expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing separates each pavilion, framing a series of carefully curated views across the surrounding landscape while strengthening the connection between the home and its natural setting.

Large recessed sliding glass doors that disappear back into the structure, dissolve the boundary between inside and out, opening onto a collection of courtyards. These outdoor spaces offer options for the owners to enjoy, dependent on the sun and prevailing winds at the time.

The interior is balanced between the textural off-the-form concrete, the warmth of natural cedar linings and scattered wool rugs.
